YMCA Daycare is designed to provide stimulating early learning experiences, including academic, cognitive, fine and gross motor, physical fitness, social and emotional development.  When your child reaches Preschool age those same wonderful experiences that they have gained in day care are expanded upon.  The YMCA Preschool is designed to give each child the opportunity to learn and grow through specialized activities.  What’s unique about our program are the additional enrichment classes in which our children participate.  Children not only learn about letters, numbers, colors, and character development but receive instruction in swimming, arts & crafts, sports, gym games, dance, and tumble tots.

Infants classroom maintains a 4:1 child to teacher ratio with a maximum of 8 children per class.
2s classroom maintains a 5:1 child to teacher ratio with a maximum of 10 children per class.
3s classroom maintains a 7:1 child to teacher ratio with a maximum of 16 children per class.
4s-5s classroom maintains an 8:1 child to teacher ratio with a maximum of 17 children per class.

After School Care

YMCA School-age Child Care, 5 - 12 years

Our staff provides a wide variety of activities, excellent supervision for children, and peace of mind for parents.  With an emphasis on values, activities range from homework assistance, sports, games, arts and crafts, swimming lessons, and social opportunities. The YMCA will consider requests for services to be provided at local schools from Croton to Hastings.
